Runtime reduction defaults are planning assumptions from the older TriPac Evolution worksheet; they are not verified for every TriPac 3 or operating pattern. Service savings are estimated from engine hours.

Runtime reductions are adjustable estimates based on older Thermo King worksheets. Actual results depend on the equipment and how it is used.

How it works: We estimate fuel and eligible service savings from the runtime reduction you enter. Reefer battery and downtime savings are included only when you provide those assumptions. Net savings subtract the installed solar cost; ROI divides that net amount by installed cost.

These calculations use constant yearly assumptions. Solar performance and results depend on equipment, existing panels, routes, weather and use. No tax credit or residual value is included. The TriPac estimate compares an existing APU with and without solar.
